you can deal so much damage by just switching articles. “i’m so hungry, i could eat the horse.” one-hit k.o.

don’t look the gift horse in a mouth

you can also add horses to other idioms, such as, “don’t count your horses before they hatch.” you can do this in any number of ways

this is the most powerful addition to this i’ve seen. thanks, furry fricker 69

I was a professional juggler for like five years and all of my friends politely pretend it never happened.

Sometimes I will be holding three or more similarly sized objects and they will all shoot me the kind of warning glances typically reserved for cats who are about to swipe a fresh and crispy fish stick from a small child’s hand.

I gaze wistfully at a basket of apples and they all think, “Don’t you FUCKING dare,” so hard that I take psychic damage.

If various minerals really did “absorb negative energies” or whatever then you’d expect geologists to be just like the calmest most focused people ever. and yet,

Some character profiles I did for an Elder Scrolls RP Forum I run. Might offer something similar for commissions in the future!

Edit: Forgot Drelethyn’s scars.

this is a blog for when you find cool mushrooms

i saw hewwo in voice chat because

it either instantly aggros all allies or i get a returning chorus of “HEWWO??? AWE YOU THEWE?” from all cursed friends who are immune to the aggro effects of hewwo

either way it gets everyone’s attention immediately

“Hewwo?” Cantrip. Instant. Verbal component. Duration one minute, no concentration. Upon casting, everyone in hearing range rolls a will save. On a failed save they immediately become hostile to the caster. Anyone else with this cantrip does not need to make the save and can also cast Hewwo as a free action on everyone previously affected. Instead of repeating the will save, each person affected by the original Hewwo immediately gets advantage on melee attacks and strength checks, and disadvantage on concentration, ranged attacks, charisma checks, and dexterity checks for the duration.

Seeing as there are only a few days left of December, I thought I’d make a year-end review featuring some of the artwork I’ve made during 2018

There was a time where I used to look forward to making these year-end art review posts, back when I drew more frequently and tried more things. Now they make me nervous, because I know that I won’t be satisfied with the work that I have done and the progress I’ve made. Sometimes I look back on my old artwork and I’m a bit envious to see a wider array of poses, colours, shading, and scenes. But there’s of course nothing to gain from wishing that you had the artistic drive of your former self.

But there are still many things that I know I have improved on, and that I’m proud of in my current work. I can see that my style has developed more, and that I have a better sense of fluidity, weight, and structure. My sketches are looser and more lively, and the anatomy of the creatures I draw has become a bit more balanced and sturdy. I’ve also simply been drawing more than I did in 2016 and 2017, and that is something to be deeply proud of. I still struggle with mental illness, but 2016 and 2017 were particularly troublesome years where I struggled to produce much artwork.

I know that I’m my own worst critic, that we all are and that sometimes it’s hard to live up to the fantasies and paintings inside your mind, but I am still proud of what I have accomplished and I want to continue to improve my art. I want to do more scene images, to shade more, and to continue aiming for more dynamic composition and poses. 2018 wasn’t the kindest year, but I have high hopes for 2019.

Turn on the sound and watch this raven mimic a human voice. This is Mischief the white-necked raven. These ravens are found throughout eastern and southern Africa, and are common near human habitation.  Like all members of the Corvidae family, ravens are extremely intelligent. They use tools to get food if necessary, and can even mimic human speech! (Source)

Okay but that’s not some Gilbert Gottfried ‘RAAAK POLLY WANNA CRACKER’ this raven actually sounds like a person what the fuck

Imagine walking into a forest with a bunch of ravens and they start saying some scary messed up stuff “you’re gonna die” and “no one can hear you”. Then it turns out there was a gruesome murder and the Ravens heard it all.
